Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed confidence in the NDA’s prospects in Tamil Nadu, stating that a significant “wave of change” is favoring the alliance. Fadnavis, while in Madurai to file the nomination of BJP candidate Raama Sreenivasan, highlighted the growing support for the NDA in the state.
Fadnavis criticized the ruling DMK and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, citing concerns over corruption and safety issues. He emphasized the need for change, pointing out the alleged misrule under the DMK government and its impact on various aspects of governance.
Addressing financial issues, Fadnavis raised alarms about Tamil Nadu’s escalating debt levels, cautioning that the state was moving towards a concerning “debt trap.” He also touched upon the topic of the three-language policy, advocating for unity while respecting linguistic diversity and responding to the DMK’s stance on the matter.
