The Maharashtra government recently undertook a significant administrative reshuffle by transferring 25 IAS officers across various key positions in the state. Among the notable changes, G. Sreekanth, previously the Municipal Commissioner of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Jal Jeevan Mission in Navi Mumbai. Deelip Swami, who served as the Collector of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, has now been reassigned as the Managing Director of Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation in Akola.
Varsha Thakur-Ghuge, the former Collector of Latur, has been designated as the Joint Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbai. Deepak Singla, who held the position of Additional Commissioner at PMRDA in Pune, will now serve as the Commissioner of MGNREGS in Maharashtra, stationed in Nagpur. The reshuffle also includes Dr. Rajendra Bharud, who transitioned from his role as Project Director at RUSA, Higher and Technical Education in Mumbai to become the Municipal Commissioner of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation.
Dr. Pravinkumar Deore, the Commissioner of Animal Husbandry in Pune, has been reassigned as the Collector of Buldhana. Furthermore, Dr. Bharat Bastewad, who previously served as the Commissioner of MGNREGS in Maharashtra, Nagpur, has now been appointed as the Collector of Latur. The changes also involve Varsha Ladda, who was serving at the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research in Pune and has been relocated as the Municipal Commissioner of Amravati Municipal Corporation.
Amol Yedge, the former Collector of Kolhapur, has been reassigned as the Municipal Commissioner of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Municipal Corporation. Dr. Vijay Rathod, who held the position of Joint Chief Executive Officer at Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbai, will now serve as the Collector of Kolhapur. Vinay Gowda G.C., the Collector of Chandrapur, has been transferred to the same position in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
