Chief Secretary Rajesh Aggarwal read out an official condolence motion honoring Asha Bhosle’s contributions to art and culture. The cabinet observed a moment of silence to commemorate her legacy in India’s musical history.
CM Fadnavis praised Asha Bhosle’s versatile career spanning over 12,000 songs in 20 languages, both Indian and foreign. He highlighted her mastery across various music genres and her effortless adaptation to change. Fadnavis recalled a personal anecdote of singing with Asha Bhosle during a recent event, expressing sorrow over her demise.
