Panic struck a housing society in Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad, as a man reportedly jumped from a residential building’s rooftop, leading to his death. The Nandgram police station’s jurisdiction covered the incident. Upon receiving the alert, the police promptly arrived at the scene to investigate.
The deceased, identified as Raghukul Tilak, around 40 years old, is believed to have died by suicide after leaping from the building’s rooftop. Authorities have taken custody of the body for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Police official Ziauddin Ahmed mentioned that the deceased’s family members are being interrogated to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
In a similar event earlier this month, a 42-year-old man allegedly died by suicide by jumping from the 13th floor of a building in Ghaziabad, while his elderly mother was found dead inside their flat. The incident occurred at Vinayak Tower in the Mahagun Society in the Kavinagar area. Rajveer, the deceased, lived with his mother, Satnam Kaur, while his estranged wife and son lived elsewhere. Rajveer, an astrologer, had faced significant personal losses recently, including the deaths of his father and brother.
