A one-minute silence was observed in honor of the martyrs.
The atmosphere was filled with emotion as attendees remembered the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The ceremony served as a poignant tribute to the martyrs, evoking a sense of reverence and gratitude among all present. As part of the tribute, CRPF organized a blood donation camp where officers and jawans collectively donated over 100 units of blood to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh hospital in Srinagar.
The Pulwama terror attack occurred on February 14, 2019, resulting in the tragic loss of 40 CRPF personnel and the suicide bomber, Adil Ahmad Dar. The attack, claimed by the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), significantly impacted India-Pakistan relations, leading to a military standoff in 2019. Indian investigations identified 19 accused, with the main suspect and six others killed by August 2021, and seven individuals arrested.
