The Ministry of Defence has selected 30 vibrant tableaux for the 77th Republic Day Parade in New Delhi. These tableaux will represent a mix of 17 states, Union Territories, and 13 Union Ministries and Departments. The Rashtriya Rangshala Camp is currently crafting these tableaux for the parade along the Kartavya Path.
As part of the parade, there will be a total of 30 colorful tableaux showcasing two main themes: “Swatantrata Ka Month” with ‘Vande Mataram’ and “Samridhi Ka Month” featuring ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. The event will also host special guests, including participants of ‘Mann ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio show, and individuals recognized for their outstanding contributions to various fields. European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will be the Chief Guests at the Republic Day Parade.
The 10,000 special invitees include winners of international sports tournaments, beneficiaries of government schemes like PM SMILE, top scientists involved in ISRO missions, and students from Atal Tinkering Laboratories. Additionally, foreign delegates, monks, and medal winners of international Olympiads will be in attendance. The invitees will have the opportunity to visit significant landmarks in Delhi and engage with Ministers during the celebrations.
The Republic Day Parade will showcase a blend of ‘Vande Mataram’ heritage, military prowess with missiles like BrahMos and Akash, and cultural diversity through 30 vibrant tableaux. The event will also feature a grand flypast with 29 aircraft, including Rafale, Su-30, and Apache, displaying India’s defense capabilities. The parade will culminate in a cultural performance by 2,500 artists, highlighting the essence of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
