Farmers nationwide will have the opportunity to experience innovative technologies promising efficient and cost-effective farming all in one place. The National Advanced Agriculture Festival (Unnat Krishi Mahotsav 2026), a collaborative effort between the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and the Madhya Pradesh government, is scheduled to take place at the Dussehra Ground in Raisen from April 11 to 13, 2026.
Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan, leading the initiative, highlighted that this three-day event will serve as a national platform to exhibit practical solutions for climate-smart, profitable, and sustainable agriculture.
The festival will include live demonstrations, training sessions, exhibitions, and expert guidance aimed at realizing the vision of “Developed Farming – Prosperous Farmers,” aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasized that the festival will equip farmers with practical knowledge on precision farming, water management, and climate resilience to enhance productivity while conserving resources. The event is expected to attract thousands of farmers from Madhya Pradesh and neighboring states.
The festival will also witness the participation of senior dignitaries, with the opening ceremony to be conducted by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari expected to attend the closing session.
