The ninth edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s student interaction program, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, achieved a significant milestone by expanding into a nationwide dialogue involving students from across India. This initiative, driven by the Prime Minister’s vision, aims to foster an environment where every child’s uniqueness is acknowledged and supported without pressure. Traditionally held in Delhi, this year’s edition saw Prime Minister Modi engaging directly with students from various regions like Coimbatore, Raipur, Dev Mogra, and Guwahati, symbolically uniting different parts of India on a common platform.
The scale of participation in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 demonstrated its increasing popularity, with over 4.5 crore registrations and an additional 2.26 crore individuals actively engaging in related activities. This year’s total participation exceeded 6.76 crore, highlighting the program’s expanding national presence. Pariksha Pe Charcha, an annual event since 2018, involves interactions between Prime Minister Modi, students, teachers, and parents, offering guidance on approaching exams calmly and confidently, while also addressing broader educational and personal growth issues.
Participants in the program are typically selected through a national competition, with winners getting the chance to attend the event and interact directly with the Prime Minister. The previous edition in 2025 featured an innovative format and themes like sports, discipline, mental health, and creativity, broadening the program’s scope. Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 aims to reinforce the message of enjoyable learning and advocate for stress-free exams nationwide.
