Union Minister Nitin Gadkari called upon voters in Assam to back the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Assembly elections, emphasizing that the state’s progress relies on a strong mandate for the party. Speaking at a rally in the Palasbari assembly constituency, Gadkari highlighted the importance of political stability under BJP leadership for Assam’s advancement and the nation’s growth. He urged the public to ensure a clear majority for the BJP to continue in power.

Gadkari stressed that a robust and stable government is essential for Assam and the country to move forward. He underlined that supporting the BJP would facilitate infrastructure development, economic growth, and job creation in the state. The party’s commitment to transforming Assam through consistent policy measures and investments was reiterated by the senior BJP leader.

Addressing the issue of illegal immigration, Gadkari expressed concerns about its impact on Assam. He criticized the notion of granting voting rights to unauthorized entrants, warning that such actions could jeopardize national security and integrity. Emphasizing the need to safeguard Assam and ensure progress, Gadkari highlighted the significance of maintaining a balance between development and security.

As campaigning intensifies in Assam ahead of the April 9 Assembly polls, leaders from various parties are striving to attract voters by focusing on development, identity, and security concerns. With the election approaching, the BJP has ramped up its efforts, emphasizing governance, infrastructure development, and national security as central themes of its campaign.
