Ahead of the Phase 1 inauguration of the Noida International Airport, the Noida Traffic Police has released a detailed advisory regarding entry routes, diversions, and parking arrangements for vehicles. The advisory, effective from 7 A.M., aims to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event, with special considerations for emergency vehicles. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the airport’s first phase in Jewar around noon.
The traffic plan includes restrictions on heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles on key routes like the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway, allowing only emergency services to use these roads. Vehicles from Meerut and Ghaziabad will be redirected through the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, while traffic from Mathura and Aligarh via the Yamuna Expressway will exit at Jewar Cut and follow specific routes to the venue.
Commuters from Hapur, Bulandshahr, and nearby areas will be rerouted through the Jewar-Khurja road for entry via Parohi Gate. Dignitaries and VIPs are advised to access the venue through a designated interchange on the Yamuna Expressway, with separate parking arrangements. Media personnel will enter through the Kishorpur Gate.
Police, administrative officials, and government employees on duty will use the Kishorpur Gate, while official buses will be directed through Dayanantpur. Noida and Greater Noida commuters via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will follow specified roundabouts and service lanes, entering through a temporary gate near the Ranehra Police Post. Two-wheelers and light vehicles will access through Kishorpur Gate, also used by vehicles from Jewar town.
The public is urged to adhere to designated routes and minimize unnecessary travel near the venue to ensure a smooth inauguration event.
