China recently mentioned progress in negotiations between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Afghanistan’s Minister of Economy, Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, reported that over 27,000 Afghan families across nine provinces have been displaced by Pakistan’s military actions. Hanif highlighted the dire conditions faced by these families, lacking basic necessities like food, shelter, and healthcare. He called for humanitarian assistance from UN agencies and partner organizations to aid the displaced population.
