Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold three consecutive rallies in different districts of West Bengal amidst the ongoing Assembly elections campaign. The rallies will take place in Haldia, Asansol, and Suri. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also be present in Kolkata with a busy campaign itinerary for the upcoming days.
PM Modi’s campaign will kick off in Haldia, followed by rallies in Asansol and Suri. On the other hand, Home Minister Amit Shah will address a mega rally in Deba and conduct a roadshow in Kharagpur on Friday. Additionally, Shah will hold rallies in Chhatna and Baghmundi on Saturday.
The campaign in West Bengal will continue with PM Modi addressing rallies in Jangipur, Katwa, and Balurghat on Saturday. He will then stay overnight in Siliguri on April 11 and participate in a roadshow the next day. PM Modi initiated his campaign on April 5 in Cooch Behar town.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is also engaged in a busy schedule, conducting five consecutive rallies in North 24 Parganas district. The Assembly elections in West Bengal are set to take place in two phases on April 23 and April 29, with the results to be announced on May 4.
