Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to campaign in Kerala on Sunday, where he will hold a rally in Palakkad and participate in a roadshow in Thrissur. Ahead of his Kerala visit, PM Modi expressed optimism about the NDA’s prospects in the state, criticizing the governance of LDF and UDF.
As part of his brief transit through Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, stringent security measures have been implemented. A significant security operation has been initiated to ensure the Prime Minister’s safety, with multiple zones in Coimbatore and its outskirts under high-security classification. Drone operations have been prohibited in sensitive areas, and key city roads have been designated as “Red Zones.”
To secure the airspace during PM Modi’s movement, around 5,000 security personnel from various agencies have been deployed in Coimbatore. Advanced surveillance systems and control rooms are actively monitoring the situation. The Prime Minister is expected to arrive in Coimbatore by air before continuing his journey to Kerala via helicopter.
PM Modi’s visit to Kerala includes a public rally in Palakkad and a roadshow in Thrissur, where he will campaign for National Democratic Alliance candidates, including Padmaja Venugopal, ahead of the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections.
