Prime Minister Narendra Modi pledged to conduct a special investigation into illegal infiltration in West Bengal if the BJP wins in the upcoming state elections. He assured residents that those aiding infiltrators would be identified and no one would be spared. Additionally, Modi stated that infiltrators would be removed from Bengal during a campaign rally in Birbhum district.
This rally marked the third event of the day for the Prime Minister, with previous stops in Haldia and Asansol. Modi criticized the Trinamool Congress government, equating crude bomb factories to cottage industries under their rule. He promised to shut down these factories once the BJP assumes power in West Bengal.
Modi also highlighted the closure of state-run schools in West Bengal, attributing it to the ruling party’s intentional hindrance of youth education. He emphasized the importance of education for the future generation and expressed confidence in the youth’s ability to bring positive change to the state.
The Prime Minister condemned the arrogance of the Trinamool Congress, citing an incident where even President Droupadi Murmu faced disrespect in the state. Modi criticized the state government for its lack of regard for the President, showcasing what he deemed as unacceptable behavior.
