During an intense campaign in West Bengal, PM Modi conducted rallies across various districts to mobilize support for the upcoming Assembly elections. The campaign, part of the pre-election fervor, culminated in a grand roadshow at Bagdogra in the Darjeeling district. Thousands of supporters lined the streets, chanting slogans and creating a festive atmosphere.
At the roadshow, PM Modi engaged with the crowd, initially seated beside the driver and later leaning out of the vehicle window to interact with supporters. Holding a replica of the BJP’s lotus symbol, he energized the crowd further, with chants of support growing louder as the convoy passed through the area.
Addressing multiple rallies in districts like Katwa, Jangipur, and Kushmandi, PM Modi focused on the BJP’s development agenda and urged voters to bring about a change in governance. He highlighted the need to replace the current regime, accusing it of corruption and deception over the past 15 years. PM Modi called for a chance to lead the state towards progress and development.
The campaign efforts precede the upcoming two-phase West Bengal Assembly elections scheduled for April 23 and April 29. Vote counting is set for May 4, marking a crucial phase in the state’s political landscape.
