President Donald Trump, while at the White House, emphasized the need for federal oversight in US elections, stating that states failing to conduct elections fairly should face federal intervention. Trump highlighted the role of states as federal agents in elections and suggested federal intervention in cases of election irregularities.

Trump reiterated his stance on election integrity, pointing out past irregularities in cities like Detroit, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. He advocated for voter identification requirements, linking them to ensuring fair elections and public trust in governance.

Senator Lindsey Graham supported Trump’s stance, criticizing sanctuary city policies and emphasizing the need to end them to deter illegal immigration. Trump echoed these sentiments, urging cooperation between local and federal authorities to combat crime and illegal immigration effectively.

Trump also claimed a significant reduction in crime rates due to stricter enforcement measures, citing a decline in border crossings and a historic low in violent crime levels. He alleged widespread fraud in states like Minnesota and California, suggesting that addressing fraud could help eliminate budget deficits.
