The police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district have taken action by attaching the property of a terror handler based in Pakistan. This move, carried out under the E&IMCO Act, involves seizing 10 kanal 14 marlas of land with an assessed value of around Rs 22.05 lakh.
The attached property, located in Tehsil Mandi, belongs to Abdul Aziz, identified as a Pakistan-based terror handler. Despite being declared a Proclaimed Offender by the court, Aziz has evaded arrest and continues to engage in activities against national security.
In a bid to disrupt terror networks’ financial and logistical support systems, the police are actively dismantling such structures. This action underscores the authorities’ commitment to combating terrorism and anti-national activities, ensuring public safety and national sovereignty.
