Punjab FC Beats Mohammedan Sporting Club 2-1 in Indian Super League Match

Punjab FC secured a 2-1 victory over Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Indian Super League 2025-26 match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. Punjab FC, with 11 points, moved up to fifth place in the standings, while Mohammedan remains at the bottom without any points.

Punjab FC’s Dani Ramírez, the team captain, was honored as the Player of the Match. The match saw Punjab FC making a strong comeback with two quick goals early in the second half after Mohammedan took the lead in the first half.

Punjab FC’s Nsungusi Jr and Ramírez played crucial roles in the comeback, with Nsungusi Jr equalizing the score at 1-1 just two minutes into the second half. Ramírez then secured the lead for Punjab FC with a goal in the 52nd minute, sealing their victory.
