Adding to tensions within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Punjab Minister Harpal Singh Cheema criticized party MP Raghav Chadha for allegedly failing to address important state issues in the Rajya Sabha. Cheema, echoing Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s concerns, accused Chadha of betraying Punjab by not raising matters like GST revenue losses and flood relief funds in Parliament.
According to Cheema, Chadha, who represented Punjab in the Rajya Sabha, neglected crucial state issues during his tenure. Despite the flood crisis in Punjab and BJP’s unfulfilled financial promises, Chadha purportedly remained silent, disappointing the people of Punjab.
Cheema further claimed that Chadha’s silence on critical Punjab issues indicated his allegiance to other parties rather than AAP’s principles. He criticized Chadha for not supporting the party during adversities, such as when false cases were filed against AAP leaders by the BJP.
