Rajasthan BJP president, Madan Rathore, criticized former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for advising BJP leaders to keep their sons out of politics. Rathore accused the Congress of being stuck in dynastic politics, which he labeled as its “biggest weakness.” He also accused the Congress of tarnishing the country’s image and misleading the public.
Rathore retaliated against Gehlot’s advice by alleging that Gehlot himself has a blind affection for his son, Vaibhav Gehlot. He claimed that Gehlot tried but failed to promote his son in politics. Rathore emphasized the importance of practicing what one preaches, stating that advice only holds value when followed.
The BJP president continued his criticism, stating that the Congress is still entrenched in dynastic politics, which he believes is the party’s major weakness. He warned that the public is aware of this practice and that the opposition will need to justify it in the future. Rathore also reiterated India’s stance of not meddling in international affairs as a “dalaal.”
In response to Gehlot’s comments on Pakistan’s role in the Iran-Israel conflict, Rathore questioned the former Chief Minister’s alignment with national interests. He highlighted the strengthening of India’s global position under the Prime Minister’s leadership, with welfare schemes benefiting citizens and advancements in the space sector. Rathore urged political parties to unite in the national interest amidst tensions in West Asia, criticizing the opposition for politicizing issues like fuel prices during a sensitive global situation.
