The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the Class 12 results for Arts, Commerce, and Science streams in March, immediately after the exams ended. This is a significant move as it marks the first time the board has released results in the same month. Education Minister Madan Dilawar congratulated the toppers over the phone following the announcement.
This year, the RBSE declared the Class 10 results on March 24 before the Class 12 results, making it the fastest-ever result declaration by the board. The exams concluded on March 11, and the results were swiftly announced. Notably, girls performed better than boys in the Arts and Science streams, while boys had a higher pass percentage in Commerce.
Despite the overall pass percentage experiencing a slight decline compared to the previous year, the results were still commendable. In 2026, the pass percentage was 97.54% in Arts, 98.50% in Commerce, and 97.52% in Science. This was slightly lower than the 2025 results, which stood at 97.78% (Arts), 99.07% (Commerce), and 98.43% (Science).
Education Minister Dilawar emphasized the importance of regular school attendance for students, especially as the new session begins on April 1 with Praveshotsav. He highlighted the significance of ensuring that students in the state receive quality education without any hindrances. This year’s results are notable as both Class 10 and Class 12 results were announced in March, aligning with the exam schedule.
In a heartbreaking incident, Nakita, a student from Government Senior Secondary School, 7 KN (Sri Ganganagar), achieved an impressive 93.80% in the Arts stream but tragically passed away on March 20, just 11 days before the results were announced. Nakita’s parents, who are daily wage laborers, expressed their joy over their daughter’s outstanding performance, highlighting her hard work and dedication.
