The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) ad-hoc committee is prioritizing the strengthening of grassroots cricket and expanding infrastructure across districts. Led by Convener Mohit Jaswant Yadav, the committee, including Dhananjay Singh Khimsar, Ashish Tiwari, Arjun Beniwal, and Arisht Singhvi, aims to nurture young talent for the 2026–27 domestic season. Arisht Singhvi is tasked with drafting a framework for RCA’s sports activities and coordinating support initiatives.
The committee has decided to conduct summer training camps in all district centers from April 15 to April 30, 2026, catering to various age categories. Financial assistance for organizing these camps has been increased from Rs 40,000 to Rs 1 lakh per district to enhance facilities and ensure effective training programs at the grassroots level. Rajasthan Royals Vice President Rajiv Khanna recently met with the committee members to discuss preparations and coordination for upcoming IPL matches in Jaipur.
Committee Convener Yadav affirmed full cooperation with the BCCI and Rajasthan Royals to ensure the smooth conduct of IPL matches in Jaipur. He mentioned that the RCA would officially communicate its support to the BCCI. Rajasthan Royals Vice President Khanna expressed confidence in seamless coordination for hosting IPL matches in the state, describing the meeting as meaningful and excellent. The committee, under Yadav’s leadership, is committed to holding long-pending RCA elections promptly and improving the association’s functioning and direction.
