Rajya Sabha MP, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, expressed that there is a significant desire for change in West Bengal, with the upcoming Assembly elections expected to mirror this sentiment. He highlighted the widespread trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, particularly in Bengal, stating that the Prime Minister is prioritizing the state in his agenda.
Shringla noted the Prime Minister’s active involvement in the election campaign, citing his rallies in various West Bengal locations like Murshidabad and Siliguri. He emphasized the remarkable turnout at these events, indicating both the public’s confidence in Modi and their aspiration for political transformation in the state.
The MP underscored the growing movement for change, asserting that this shift will be evident in the election outcomes. He praised the success of rallies, such as the one in Asansol, where Modi’s interactions with ordinary citizens have made a significant impact. The West Bengal Assembly elections are scheduled from April 23 to April 29, with the counting of votes set for May 4.
Senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, have intensified their campaign efforts, conducting consecutive rallies throughout the state. Modi recently addressed the issue of fake videos being circulated by the Trinamool Congress ahead of the elections, without directly naming individuals involved.
