Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan celebrated his son Hrithik Roshan’s 52nd birthday with a touching message. Known as the Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik was showered with love by his father, who affectionately calls him ‘Duggu.’ Rakesh shared an artwork showcasing Hrithik’s journey from his younger days to now.

Rakesh, married to Pinkie Roshan and father of Sunaina and Hrithik, expressed his increasing love for ‘Duggu’ every passing year. Hrithik, dubbed the millennial superstar, is among India’s highest-paid actors, featuring multiple times in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list due to his earnings and popularity. His acting career began with notable roles in successful films like “Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai.”

Hrithik rose to fame with acclaimed performances in movies like “Fiza” and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.” His career-defining role came in the 2003 film “Koi… Mil Gaya,” followed by portraying the superhero in the “Krrish” series. Notable films in his repertoire include “Dhoom 2,” “Jodhaa Akbar,” “Super 30,” and “War.” Transitioning to OTT production, Hrithik is set to debut as a producer with the upcoming thriller “Storm” on Prime Video, directed by Ajitpal Singh.

In an exciting development, Hrithik is gearing up for his directorial debut with ‘Krrish 4,’ a franchise he has been an integral part of for over two decades. The film, produced by Yash Raj Films in collaboration with Rakesh Roshan, will see Hrithik in dual roles of director and actor, reprising his iconic superhero character. Production for ‘Krrish 4’ is slated to commence early next year.
