India was anticipating Ranbir Kapoor’s debut as Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwary’s “Ramayana,” but his absence at the media event on Hanuman Jayanti raised concerns. Despite the event’s setup to reveal Rama’s look, Ranbir Kapoor was missing, leaving attendees puzzled. A prior special screening for select media had seen Ranbir’s presence, creating a stark contrast with his absence at the main event.

Ranbir Kapoor’s recent absence at the crucial unveiling of his character in “Ramayana” has left many wondering about the sudden change. While he had been actively participating in related events, his no-show at this significant moment has raised eyebrows. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravie Dubey, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, and Amitabh Bachchan, with music maestros Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman onboard.

The cinematic universe of “Ramayana” is set to be a grand spectacle, with two parts filmed for IMAX and a global release plan. Hollywood’s renowned stunt directors Terry Notary and Guy Norris are choreographing the epic battles, promising a visual extravaganza. The first part is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release, followed by the second part in Diwali 2027, making it a highly anticipated project in the industry.
