Real Madrid clinched a crucial 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo, staying competitive in the La Liga title race. The match seemed destined for a draw until Federico Valverde’s deflected shot in the 94th minute secured the win for Real Madrid. Missing key players like Kylian Mbappe and Eder Militao, Real Madrid initially took the lead with an impressive goal from Aurelien Tchouameni.

In a back-and-forth game, Celta Vigo’s Borja Iglesias equalized in the 25th minute, cancelling out Real Madrid’s lead. Despite Real Madrid’s efforts, Celta Vigo’s defense held strong, thwarting further scoring opportunities for the visitors. The match saw intense moments, including a disallowed penalty claim for Real Madrid and a close attempt by Iago Aspas hitting the post.

Tchouameni’s standout performance in the first half showcased his ability to drive Real Madrid’s attack forward. However, it was Valverde’s fortuitous strike that ultimately sealed the victory for Real Madrid, keeping them in contention for the La Liga title race.
