Ridhima Dilawari overcame a shaky start to shoot a third consecutive 71, surpassing Jasmine Shekar in the sixth leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour at the Jaypee Wishtown Golf Course in Noida. Despite falling five shots behind after two holes, Ridhima’s flawless performance with two birdies helped her secure the lead.
In a tense final round, Ridhima maintained her composure, ending with a par on the 18th hole while Jasmine faltered with a bogey. This victory marks Ridhima’s third win in the last five events, solidifying her position at the top of the Hero Order of Merit rankings. Meanwhile, Jasmine settled for second place after winning the first leg of the season.
Ridhima has emerged victorious in three out of the six legs held so far, with Jasmine, Tvesa Malik, and amateur Lavanya Gupta claiming one title each. While Ridhima found her rhythm after a rough start, Jasmine’s round was marked by ups and downs, ultimately finishing in second place.
Saanvi Somu delivered an impressive performance with a 1-under 70, securing a tied third position at 2-over 215 alongside Amandeep Drall (71). Neha Tripathi claimed fifth place with a score of 73, while Tvesa Malik’s stellar 69 placed her in a tied-sixth position with amateur players Guntas Kaur Sandhu and Alysha Dutt.
Amateur golfer Mahreen Bhatia secured the ninth spot, followed by Anuradha Chaudhuri and Anvitha Narender in the Top-10. The event, featuring 53 players, saw 34 participants making the cut for the Rs. 17 lakh prize pool.
Ridhima currently leads the Order of Merit with earnings of Rs. 9,91,667, with Jasmine Shekar and Amandeep Drall following closely in second and third place with Rs. 7,38,333 and Rs. 5,84,000, respectively.
