RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha expressed strong criticism towards both the central and Bihar governments for the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar. He highlighted the recent NEET aspirant case as a clear example that demands immediate accountability. Jha also responded to comments made by BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on the matter.
Refuting Rajiv Pratap Rudy’s statement linking crime to Tejashwi Yadav’s presence in Bihar, Jha expressed disappointment and stated, “I least expected such a vulgar comment from the person whose name you are mentioning.” Addressing the escalating crime rates and the mysterious death of the NEET student, Jha emphasized the urgent need for corrective measures due to the collapse of law and order in Bihar.
Jha highlighted the RJD’s consistent stance on Bihar’s law and order issues and recalled Tejashwi Yadav’s commitment to assess the government’s performance for 100 days before passing judgment. Expressing distress over recent criminal incidents, Jha criticized those in power for their lack of empathy towards victims and urged swift action to restore order. Concluding emotionally, Manoj Jha emphasized the deep impact of the law and order breakdown on the public, demanding accountability from the government.
During the birth anniversary celebrations of former Bihar Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur at the RJD office in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his silence on the suspicious death of the NEET student. Tejashwi questioned the absence of response from Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, alleging rampant crime in Bihar with daily incidents of shootings, kidnappings, and murders. He accused the government of power misuse and manipulation of constitutional institutions.
