Rohit Yadav emerged victorious in the men’s javelin throw event at the Indian Athletics Series in New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Animesh Kujur secured the men’s 100m title with a time of 10.28 seconds, while Tajinderpal Singh Toor won the men’s shot put with a season-best throw of 21.03m. Pooja set a personal best to clinch the gold in the high jump event with a height of 1.90m.
In a thrilling evening session, the top three male javelin throwers surpassed the 80m mark in a fierce competition. Rohit Yadav claimed the top spot with an impressive throw of 82.17m, followed by Sachin Yadav in second place (81.95m) and Yashvir Singh in third (81.61m). The event showcased remarkable performances by talented athletes across various disciplines, including sprints, middle-distance running, hurdles, and field events.
