Born in 1982 in New Delhi, Roshni Nadar Malhotra is the only child of Shiv and Kiran Nadar. She pursued her early education at Vasant Valley School and later earned a degree in Communications from Northwestern University, followed by an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Before joining HCL, Roshni gained experience as a news producer with Sky News UK and CNN America.
In 2009, she joined HCL Corporation, and within a year, she was appointed as the executive director and CEO. Her leadership was further solidified when she became the chairperson of HCL Technologies, making her the first woman to lead a listed IT company in India.
