Television star Rupali Ganguly delighted fans by sharing a video of her mother dancing energetically by the beach to the song ‘Shararat’ from the movie ‘Dhurandhar’. In the clip, Rupali’s mother, aged almost 72, showcased her moves with enthusiasm to the choreography done by Rupali’s brother, Vijay Ganguly.

Rupali Ganguly’s mother, Rajni Ganguly, who is in her early 70s, displayed infectious energy while dancing. Being a Maharashtrian, Rajni makes Rupali half Maharashtrian and half Bengali, as Rupali’s late father was a renowned Bengali filmmaker in Hindi cinema.

The song ‘Shararat’ from the movie ‘Dhurandhar’, featuring Krystle D’Souza and Ayesha Khan, has gained popularity since its release last December. Choreographed by Vijay Ganguly, the peppy number has received acclaim. Vijay Ganguly has previously worked on hit songs like ‘Ghungroo’ from War and ‘Nadiyon Paar’ from Roohi.

Rupali Ganguly, known for her role in the TV show ‘Anupamaa’, continues to excel as the lead character, maintaining high TRP ratings since its debut in 2020. She is reported to be one of the highest-paid actresses in Indian television. Personally, Rupali is married to businessman Ashwin K Verma, and they have a son named Rudransh.
