Sahith Theegala and Sudarshan Yellamaraju climbed to Tied-7 in the Houston Open on the PGA Tour after the third round. Yellamaraju, from Indo-Canadian descent, scored 5-under 65, while Theegala scored 4-under 66, both totaling 10-under par for the final day.
Theegala, with a score of 67-67-66, recorded five birdies and one bogey in the third round, with birdies on the third, fifth, 10th, 13th, and 17th holes, and a bogey on the eighth hole. Yellamaraju, with a score of 69-66-65, made seven birdies and two bogeys in the third round, with birdies on the third, fourth, fifth, 14th, 15th, 16th, and 18th holes, and bogeys on the sixth and ninth holes.
Former US Open champion Gary Woodland shot a 5-under 65 in the third round, taking a one-stroke lead into the final day with a total score of 18-under par after rounds of 64-63-65.
Nicolai Højgaard, in second place, shot an impressive 8-under 62 on the second day and a 7-under 63 on the third day, placing him one stroke behind the leader at 17-under par with one round remaining.
