Oman’s budget airline SalamAir has expanded its network with the launch of direct flights between Muscat and Delhi. The new route commenced on July 2, 2024, and will operate twice a week, specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This service is part of SalamAir’s strategy to enhance connectivity and cater to the increasing demand for affordable travel options between the two cities.

SalamAir, which started commercial operations in 2017, has progressively grown its fleet to meet its expansion goals. The airline now operates six Airbus A320neos, seven A321neos, and one Airbus A321 freighter. The addition of Delhi to its route network is a notable milestone for SalamAir, reflecting its commitment to offering more travel choices to its customers.

The new flights are expected to boost connectivity between Oman and India, providing passengers with a convenient and cost-effective travel option. This development aligns with SalamAir’s objective to expand its presence in key markets and offer enhanced services to meet the evolving needs of travelers.

With this move, SalamAir aims to strengthen its position in the competitive airline industry by adding valuable routes and improving its service offerings. The airline’s expansion into the Delhi market underscores its focus on growth and customer satisfaction.
