Sanya Malhotra, known for her roles in Bollywood, recently shared a video on Instagram dancing to the famous song “Zara sa Jhoom lu main” from “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” a beloved movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The song, sung by Asha Bhosle and Abhijeet Bhattacharya, holds a special place in fans’ hearts. In other news, to mark the 30th anniversary of “DDLJ,” Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol unveiled statues of their characters Raj and Simran in London’s Leicester Square, making it the first Indian film to receive this honor.

Actress Sanya Malhotra was seen enjoying the snow while dancing to the iconic track that featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the original movie. The recreation of the song on her Instagram Stories showcased her admiration for the timeless classic. Additionally, the film “Sundar Poonam,” in which Sanya stars alongside Aditya Rawal, has commenced filming. The project, part of the Prime Video 2026 slate, is directed by Pulkit and is rumored to be inspired by a real-life honeymoon murder case from 2025.

Sanya Malhotra, who is also set to appear in the dark comedy “Toaster” alongside Rajkummar Rao, shared glimpses of the puja ceremony for “Sundar Poonam” on her official Instagram handle. The movie’s commencement was marked by traditional rituals and the presence of her co-stars. Fans can catch “Toaster” on Netflix starting April 15, adding to the actress’s diverse portfolio of upcoming projects.
