The SG Pipers men’s team has arrived in Chennai to prepare for the upcoming Hero Hockey India League season 2, set to commence on January 03. The team is focusing on consistency, execution, and improved on-field outcomes as they gear up for the league’s return. The squad comprises a mix of experienced Indian internationals and emerging young talent, aiming to excel in all aspects of the game. Head coach Tim Oudenaller is leading the team with a structured approach, emphasizing defensive organization, transition play, and efficiency on the field. Oudenaller highlighted the team’s focus on defense, structure, and mentality reset for the season. Jarmanpreet Singh will provide leadership in defense, while Rupinder Pal Singh brings attacking experience to the team.
