Shruti Dube Takes Over as Meta’s New UK Country Director

Meta has announced the appointment of Shruti Dube as its new UK Country Director, a position she will officially begin in March 2025. Dube, an Indian-origin professional, brings nearly a decade of experience within Meta, having held significant leadership roles in the company’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) division. Before this appointment, she served as the Group Vertical Director for the UK and Ireland, as well as the EMEA Sales Strategy and Operations Director, showcasing her strategic and operational expertise.

Dube’s leadership journey is also marked by her prior work with prestigious organizations such as McKinsey & Company and Sequoia Capital, where she focused on driving growth in the tech industry and the venture capital landscape. Her extensive background in strategy, coupled with her innovative approach to business, makes her a highly qualified figure to lead Meta’s UK operations.

Dube’s academic credentials are equally impressive. She earned an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, further bolstered by a dual degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dube is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young girls. As the chairperson of BelEve, a charity dedicated to empowering girls aged 8 to 18, she works tirelessly to help them build the confidence and skills needed to succeed in life.
