Delhi Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa demanded an apology from Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi for objectionable comments made during a discussion on Guru Tegh Bahadur in the Assembly. Sirsa emphasized the need for Atishi, along with AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, to publicly apologize to the nation and Sikh community. He highlighted the authenticity of the video showing Atishi’s remarks, as confirmed by the Delhi Forensic Science Laboratory report.
Sirsa criticized the Punjab Government for allegedly trying to shield Atishi by filing a distorted police complaint. He stressed that religion should not be intimidated through police and state power, especially on the sacred land of Punjab. Referring to the FSL report, Sirsa pointed out that the video and audio were found to be completely authentic without any tampering.
The Delhi minister accused the Aam Aadmi Party and the Punjab Government of colluding to protect Atishi through institutional misuse. He raised concerns about the use of an AI tool, Gemini AI, in the investigation process, questioning its credibility in such a serious matter. Sirsa also highlighted the attempts to suppress the truth, including targeting the media and creating pressure through various agencies.
