Singer B Praak has reportedly been threatened with death by an individual claiming affiliation with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The caller demanded Rs 10 crore from B Praak and warned of severe consequences if the demand is not met. The matter has been reported to the police, and an investigation is currently underway.
A complaint lodged with the Mohali police revealed that the initial contact was made on January 5. The accused threatened Punjabi-Bollywood singer B Praak with death if the demanded amount was not paid, stating that Praak would be “buried in the ground.” Dilnoor, an associate of B Praak, received the threatening call.
Following the threatening call, Dilnoor received another call from a foreign number the next day. Sensing something amiss, Dilnoor disconnected the call after a brief conversation. Subsequently, he received a voice message from the same number, where the caller identified himself as Arju Bishnoi and demanded Rs 10 crore from B Praak.
The caller’s message to Dilnoor instructed him to pass on the demand to B Praak, giving a week’s time to comply. The threat extended to causing harm if anyone associated with B Praak was found nearby. The police have been informed of the threat, and a formal complaint has been lodged.
Dilnoor has submitted a written complaint to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Mohali, following the incident. Authorities have taken note of the situation and are actively investigating to trace the origin of the calls and confirm the caller’s identity. B Praak is a renowned Indian singer, music director, composer, and music producer known for his work in both the Punjabi and Hindi music industries.
