State Home Minister G. Parameshwara addressed Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy’s remarks regarding the handling of affairs in Karnataka after the Ballari shootout. Parameshwara emphasized that evaluating the entire system based on a single incident is not appropriate. He highlighted his extensive political experience spanning 38 years and his familiarity with making crucial decisions in his role.
Parameshwara stressed the importance of discerning the full context before making statements, cautioning against careless remarks that could have significant repercussions. He underscored the need for political leaders to consider the societal impact of their words and actions. Additionally, Parameshwara acknowledged the doctors’ confirmation that no second post-mortem examination was conducted, questioning the accuracy of claims suggesting otherwise.
In response to Kumaraswamy’s criticism and allegations, Parameshwara commended Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for matching the record set by former Chief Minister D. Devaraj Urs in office days. He also praised various Congress leaders for supporting Siddaramaiah in achieving this milestone, attributing such opportunities to the party’s values and commitment to serving the underprivileged and promoting development.
