Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai recently revisited his 2008 movie “Black & White,” considering it one of his most unconventional projects. Ghai explained that the film, featuring Anil Kapoor, stood out from his usual style, garnering mixed reactions from audiences. Despite initial skepticism from some viewers, the film’s realistic content and storytelling resonated well with a more discerning audience.
Upon the film’s release, Ghai received praise and admiration from top filmmakers, considering it a significant accolade. He expressed that “Black & White” remains a personal favorite due to its departure from his typical filmmaking approach. The movie, co-produced and directed by Ghai, starred Anil Kapoor, Anurag Sinha, Shefali Shah, and Aditi Sharma, portraying the narrative of an Afghan suicide bomber on a mission during India’s Independence Day.
