The team working on director Sathya Siva’s upcoming Tamil movie ‘Arivu’ recently finished filming in Munnar and took the initiative to renovate a government school in the area. During the shoot at a school in Letchmi near Ottapaarai, they observed the lack of basic facilities for students. As a result, the film’s producer, Sai Vinod Jayakumar, oversaw the renovation of the school, including painting and providing drinking water facilities. This act of kindness has been well-received by the locals and students in the region.
The film, starring Vijay Kumar and Kayal Anandhi, will focus on women’s rights, with I M Vijayan, Deepa Shankar, and Singam Puli in significant roles. Sathyasiva, the director known for addressing social issues in his films, has crafted the story and screenplay. ‘Arivu’ is being produced by Sai Vinod Jayakumar under Movietron Productions.
The movie’s technical aspects include music by D. Imman, cinematography by Dil Raju, and editing by Vetri Krishnan, with art direction by S K Ramu. The team aims to wrap up filming before the Tamil New Year, as per sources close to the production unit.
