Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed satisfaction with the Supreme Court’s approval of the recruitment of 563 candidates for Group I posts in the state. He emphasized that this decision validates the government’s commitment to transparent and sincere job recruitment processes. The Chief Minister acknowledged the long-awaited relief for Group I aspirants who faced uncertainty and financial challenges while pursuing these positions.

The Chief Minister highlighted the swift actions taken by his administration to facilitate the recruitment process, including issuing notifications, conducting exams, and promptly issuing appointment orders. He commended the efforts to counter any attempts to disrupt the recruitment process, enabling the youth to contribute actively to the state’s development as Group I officers. Reddy extended his congratulations to the successful candidates and praised the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) for its role in ensuring transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process.

Following the Telangana High Court’s decision, the Supreme Court upheld the recruitment of 563 candidates for Group I posts, dismissing petitions challenging the process. The court’s ruling supported the High Court’s order and rejected the appeals against the TGPSC. The Supreme Court’s two-judge Bench, led by Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta, declined to intervene in the High Court’s earlier directive, maintaining the integrity of the recruitment process.
