Texas A&M Scientist Appointed Editor of Prestigious Neurology Journal

Dr. Samba Reddy, a distinguished Regents Professor at Texas A&M University School of Medicine, has been named the Editor of Experimental Neurology, a leading international medical journal. Known for its high-impact research on neurological disorders, the journal boasts an impressive impact factor of 5.6.

Dr. Reddy, who directs the Institute of Pharmacology and Neurotherapeutics, brings over two decades of experience in academia and neurotherapeutics research. His groundbreaking work, particularly in developing treatments for epilepsy and other brain disorders, has garnered global recognition. His research has led to FDA-approved medications like Brexanolone and Ganaxolone.
