The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that tickets for the T20 World Cup 2026 semi-finals and final will be available for purchase at 7 pm IST on Tuesday. Cricket enthusiasts can secure seats for the first semi-final on March 4, the second semi-final on March 5, and the highly anticipated final on March 8 through official booking platforms. The venue for the first semi-final is yet to be confirmed, with options including the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo or the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The second semi-final is set to take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Tournament guidelines dictate that if the Pakistan cricket team qualifies for the semi-finals, they will compete in semi-final 1 in Colombo on March 4. In the event that Pakistan does not qualify but Sri Lanka advances to the super 4 and is not pitted against India, the match will also be held in Colombo. If neither scenario materializes, or if India faces Sri Lanka, semi-final 1 will be held at Eden Gardens on the same date.
The location of the final is contingent on Pakistan’s progress in the tournament. Should Pakistan make it to the title clash, the final will be held in Colombo. Otherwise, the summit showdown will take place in Ahmedabad. The ICC has assured that tickets bought for a venue that does not host either semi-final 1 or the final will be fully refunded.
The initial ticket sales phase will offer a limited number of tickets across categories for all three knockout matches, with high demand anticipated as the tournament nears its conclusion. In the ongoing Super 8s round, India is in Group A alongside West Indies, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, while Pakistan is in Group B with England, New Zealand, and co-hosts Sri Lanka. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, which will be decisive knockout encounters.
