Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha highlighted the crucial role of engineers in the state’s progress, stating they are instrumental in shaping a “New Tripura” essential for a “New India.” He commended engineers for their professional dedication and active participation in social initiatives, emphasizing that government projects rely significantly on their technical expertise.
Speaking at a voluntary blood donation camp during the Association of Service Engineers of Tripura’s sixth biennial conference, Saha emphasized the importance of trust and impartiality in work. Underlining the government’s focus on prioritizing work over other considerations, he noted the significant progress made in inaugurating projects worth approximately Rs 1,300 crore within a year.
Saha stressed the critical role of engineers in implementing various developmental initiatives, emphasizing the necessity of embracing advanced technologies. He underscored the need for continuous skill enhancement and innovation among engineers, pledging government support in facilitating these efforts across sectors such as water supply, housing, and infrastructure development.
The Chief Minister reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a New India, asserting that achieving this goal hinges on transforming Tripura. He expressed confidence in engineers’ ability to drive this transformation, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping the state’s future through timely and high-quality project execution.
