The ‘Sankalp Patra’ released by the BJP at the TTAADC headquarters in Khumulwng underscores the development of Janajati populace, including economic growth and cultural preservation. Initiatives in education, skill enhancement, and job creation for youth are outlined in the document.
CM Saha envisions a prosperous and inclusive ‘Viksit TTAADC’ under the BJP’s agenda, aiming for identity preservation and overall growth. The manifesto includes promises such as promoting tribal languages, forming Village Committees democratically, and supporting traditional tribal customs.
Lok Sabha member Sambit Patra, along with other BJP leaders, attended the event where the party also pledged to empower tribal women through training centers and girls’ hostels. Plans for economic upliftment through forest produce marketing and a proposed medical college in Dhalai district were highlighted.
The BJP’s commitments extend to strengthening tribal women’s Self-Help Groups, promoting traditional medicinal practices, and ensuring a drug-free Tripura. The TTAADC, with upcoming elections on April 12, has been a focal point for various political parties vying for tribal voter support.
