Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) President Vijay is set to speak at a party cadre meeting in Vellore district on Monday. The meeting, scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. at Kollamangalam, will see around 4,900 executive members in attendance. Entry is restricted to individuals with special admission tickets containing QR codes to ensure a controlled and secure event.
TVK General Secretary N. Anand has specified that certain groups, including pregnant women, children, and individuals with health conditions, will not receive entry passes for safety reasons. This precautionary measure follows a recent incident during a TVK event in Erode. Organizers have arranged for a large canopy at the Vellore venue to shield attendees from heat, with medical assistance on standby.
Vijay’s campaign vehicle arrived in Vellore under tight security, drawing enthusiastic crowds along the route. The meeting in Vellore follows a significant engagement in Salem as TVK gears up for the 2026 Assembly elections. The session aims to bolster booth-level structures, review campaign strategies, and invigorate district-level office bearers, setting the stage for the party’s future political activities in northern Tamil Nadu.
