Two individuals were fatally stabbed in different incidents in Delhi, reflecting a concerning law and order situation in the national capital. In the first case, a notorious criminal named Mukesh, around 40 years old, was stabbed to death in the Kalyanpuri area of East Delhi. He was discovered in a pool of blood near a public toilet in Block-18 of Kalyanpuri and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital.
According to East District Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Dhania, a murder case has been filed in connection with Mukesh’s death. The police are utilizing CCTV footage from the area to identify the attackers and are questioning the deceased’s family members to piece together the events leading to the killing. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and investigations are ongoing.
In a separate incident, a 23-year-old man named Ranjan was fatally stabbed in the JJ Colony area of Bawana in north Delhi on Wednesday night. Police have launched an investigation into this case as well, with further details pending as the probe continues. These incidents follow a spate of violent stabbings on New Year’s evening, where three individuals lost their lives in successive attacks in Adarsh Nagar, Mongolpuri, and Sultanpuri areas of Delhi.
