Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia participated in a public hearing in the Mungaoli Assembly constituency of Ashoknagar district within his parliamentary constituency, Guna. The event lasted over three hours, during which Scindia engaged with complainants, addressing their grievances. A total of 1,048 applications from local residents were received during the meeting.
Scindia swiftly resolved 238 complaints on the spot with the help of officials present at the public hearing. The remaining 810 applications have been forwarded to the relevant government departments for prompt resolution. Clear directives were issued by Scindia to ensure that every application is taken seriously and resolved within a specific timeframe.
An online tracking mechanism has been put in place for pending cases to monitor the progress of each application regularly. Scindia emphasized the importance of clearly articulating reasons in cases where resolution seems challenging. He also stressed the need to escalate matters concerning the Central and state levels to the appropriate authorities for resolution.
Union Minister Scindia initiated Assembly-wise public hearings under his Guna Lok Sabha constituency last year, now in its second phase. He reiterated his commitment to addressing every citizen’s grievance and ensuring the benefits of government schemes reach all individuals. Scindia expressed confidence that these public hearings would not only solve problems but also enhance trust and communication between the administration and the public.
