Union Minister Giriraj Singh stated that his party, if in power in West Bengal, would strictly prohibit cow slaughter while allowing meat and fish consumption. He emphasized the importance of banning cow slaughter while respecting people’s choices regarding other meats. Singh criticized the Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal for law and order issues in districts like Murshidabad and Basirhat.

Singh praised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, highlighting his long political career and governance. He contrasted Kumar’s leadership with that of Lalu Prasad Yadav, emphasizing Kumar’s positive impact on Bihar’s development and social harmony. Singh commended Kumar’s efforts in improving infrastructure, such as airports, during his tenure.

Singh also criticized Lalu Yadav’s governance, noting social imbalances and ‘jungle raj’ during his time in power. He underlined the difference between Kumar’s ‘golden period’ of progress and harmony in Bihar and Yadav’s legacy.
